● HER PATH
Mary's path toward this work began with her own search for healing.
Mary was born in Italy, raised in Canada of Italian and Russian/Ukrainian heritage, and spent her early years as a professional actress. But in 1984, something shifted. She co-authored Burning Times (later published as Smoke Damage) a theatrical work exploring the persecution of women across Europe and North America for their spiritual knowledge and healing gifts.
It was a turning point that awakened a calling she has followed ever since.
Researching and writing the stories of women silenced for what they knew and who they were awakened a calling that would shape the rest of her life. She turned toward Goddess spirituality, a path that embraces both the light and the dark and within it, she found profound healing and her way home.

She sought out teachers and healing traditions that resonated deeply with her own lived experience, weaving together an eclectic blend of both Eastern and Western practices. But credentials only tell part of the story. What Mary was really learning, from the inside out, was what the deep inner healing journey is all about.

● 30 YEARS OF SACRED WORK
Since the early 1990s, Mary has held space for women in some of the most tender moments of their lives for healing.
Through her therapy practice, her Goddess Yoga workshops, sacred healing circles, and guided meditations, she has created what she always imagined — a safe haven for women to be seen, be heard, and be guided to their own inner healer. All of her work follows the Wise Women tradition, holding a container of loving support so each person can venture as deep as they are willing and able to go.
Her first meditation recording was released in 1996 and coincided with an invitation to teach at the Female Spirituality Conference at York University. As a CD, her recordings reached bestseller lists across North America. More importantly, it reached people who needed it. Listeners wrote to tell her that her voice and her guidance carried them through labour, through grief, through sleepless nights and anxious mornings. Therapists recommended her recordings to their clients. People returned to them year after year, decade after decade.
